K. Sophia Gu is an ABC (American Born Chinese), homebody, and linguistics nerd. She is always interested in hearing about female sovereigns, etiologies, or textual criticism. Originally from New Jersey, she now lives in San Francisco, CA with her two cats, Zuko and Azula.

Her debut novel The Emperor Makers will be published by Saga in summer 2028.
